In my last blog, i wrote about the new brownie pan i got. made some brownies and they turned out pretty good. i added some goodies to most of the brownies like reeces pieces, reeces pb cups-broken up, broken up pieces of cookies and cream kisses, mini m&m's and white chips. they didnt turn out exactly how i was thinking but they still were good. i also added some of my homemade french vanilla ice cream on top of a few of the as well and then topped it off with the hardshell that i had made. that was a great combination, very yummy!

My sister asked me to make a cake for her husband. He is going to school for diesel mechanics, so she found a cake similar to what i made for him. i liked how it turned out. real simple but nice. Also when i went down to the surprise bday party, my mom had ordered me a perfect brownie pan. it looks like this https://www.perfectbrownie.com/ I cant wait to use it. it looks bigger on the site, but the pieces look perfect for bite size stuff.

I also had made another cake and gave it to my brother. I wanted to use up my leftover frosting and so i made a cute cake for him and his friends to share. All i needed to add to it was a hammock and it wouldve been awesome, but i didnt think of that til later. oh well. my brother cut a piece of it right out of the middle of the lawn. lol.

well the day came for my first paid job for my career in baking that i'm wanting to do. The cake turned out great. It is a white cake, but colored blue. The girl was having a boy. They were happy with it and said it tasted great. Yeah!!! This is what it looks like

I am so excited. i got my first paid order for doing a cake. it is a baby shower cake. It is a cake with 4 blocks and one of the blocks is stacked on top of 2 of the other blocks. I thought it would be a good idea to do a practice cake beings i've never made a cake that is stacked before. and here is the result of it. I think i did pretty good. The cake is not the actual size of what the girl wants, but that didn't matter to me at the moment. The cake pictured is 3 1/2'' by atleast that same measurement high. The booties are the leftover cake, just carved a little. I plan on using the same colors for the actual cake that i make for this weekend. I hope this will be the first of many.

I made these donuts for the rodeo. They went over well. I got the recipe from this blogsite http://schweetnsavory.blogspot.com Very good recipe, i will be making them again.
I got a lot of compliments on these.
This past weekend i had a booth set up at a nearby town. They were having a rodeo, so i made some stuff to sell there. Did pretty good, not as big of a crowd as i thought there'd be, but maybe next year will be better. I have a few photos of what i made.
